We generally cover most populated areas. In rural areas, and sometimes in busy ones, notary availability can run thin, so we may need extra lead time or suggest a nearby alternative location.

Yes. Your notary prints the package sent by the title company or lender, so there's nothing for you to print.

Often, yes. When one signer is out of town or can't make the same appointment, we can set up separate signings, as long as the title company or lender allows it.

Your notary flags it and contacts the title company or lender. The corrected pages are signed once they're sent.

It needs to match closely. If your ID differs from the documents, such as a missing middle name or a married name, tell your title company before the appointment so it can be addressed.

Let your notary know right away. Changes to the time, location, or signers can affect the documents, so the sooner we hear, the better.

It depends on the property's state, the county recorder, and the lender or underwriter. We confirm your file qualifies before we book the session.

We use Proof, Pactima, and OneNotary, all MISMO‑certified platforms. Every session is recorded and stored under state-specific rules, and most run under Texas guidelines, which are favorable for many underwriters.

A laptop, desktop, or tablet works best. A phone works too, as long as you ignore calls, texts, and apps during the session so you don't disconnect.

An unexpired U.S. driver's license, a U.S. passport book, or a foreign passport with a signature (residential property only). Expired, paper, temporary, and digital IDs are not accepted, and neither are U.S. passport cards. The full list is under What to expect.

State rules require five quick questions drawn from your credit and public records. Your Social Security number or other identifying details may be requested on an encrypted site to generate them, and the notary never sees the questions. You get two tries of two minutes each.

Yes. Signers overseas, including military and expats, can sign online with an accepted ID. International travelers and foreign nationals make up most of our online closings, so we know the time zones, ID questions, and document logistics that come with signing from abroad.

An active notary commission, errors and omissions coverage of at least $25,000 (some underwriters require $100,000), and a background screening through the National Notary Association (NNA). For mobile work, reliable transportation and a dual-tray printer.

We prefer at least two years of signing experience and a strong working knowledge of your state's notarial rules. A weekend course or online certificate is a fine start, but it doesn't replace time at the table. What matters most to us is sound judgment, reliability, clear communication, and a professional, business-minded approach to every signing.

We don't usually add new online notaries, but our needs change over time. If you hold a remote online commission, list it in your NotaryResume profile along with the platforms you use, and we'll consider you when openings come up. Preference goes to notaries with a strong track record of mobile closings.
